Returns Policy

Label Expert understands that purchasing the right label printer and equipment can be a difficult decision. We want you to have peace of mind when shopping with us, so we offer the following returns policy:

Printers & Equipment > No Refunds

No returns or refunds for printers and equipment that are covered by their manufacturer's warranty.

Therefore, before purchasing any label printer from Label Expert, please request label samples. We are happy to provide you with printed sample labels, so that you can see the print quality and test the label durability with your required applications such as adhesive, water resistance, freezer testing, outdoor testing, etc.

We are also happy to provide guidance based on your requirements as to which printer may best be suited for your needs.

We accept returns on Unopened, unused printers and equipment. You must contact us within 14 days of delivery for product return and pay return shipping costs. Initial shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

DOA (Dead on Arrival) Printers & Equipment

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept returns on opened printers or equipment after the boxes have been opened and/or the products have been used.

To avoid any potential issues:

  • We recommend that you request printed samples before you purchase a printer to test the print quality and verify compatibility with your application. We will print and mail samples for free upon request.
  • Please ensure that the printer is compatible with your computer's operating system and software before purchasing.

Ink Cartridges

We accept returns on unopened, unused ink cartridges within 7 days of delivery. The customer must pay return shipping costs. The initial shipping costs, if any, will be deducted from the refund amount.

We recommend that you double-check your purchases carefully, as we cannot accept returns on incorrect ink cartridges purchased and installed in the wrong printer. Once ink cartridges have been opened and installed in a printer, it is impossible to resell them.

Make sure to double-check the correct cartridge model numbers before purchasing ink cartridges so that you get the right ones for your printer. Please get in touch with us if you need assistance selecting the right ink cartridge for your printer model.

Note that printers like the Epson CW-C4000, CW-6000, CW-C6500, and TM-C7500 have two types of black ink cartridges (Black Matte or Black Gloss). You can only use the ink cartridge that was originally installed in the printer; these ink cartridges are not interchangeable. If you purchase the wrong cartridge and install it (for example, ordering Black Matte ink for a “Gloss” printer model), it will not be recognized by the printer and cannot be returned. Always look at the part number on the ink cartridge before ordering.

Blank Labels

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept returns on blank labels once they have been opened and/or used. To ensure your satisfaction, please order free label samples of the type and size labels you are considering purchasing for testing purposes.

Since we sell labels by the roll. We encourage you to purchase a single roll and test it in your application before purchasing a large quantity of labels.

All labels are sold AS IS and we do not guarantee their use or application in any specific application. Therefore, you should always get labels and test

Restocking Fee 15%

When an opened printer or equipment has been authorized for return, we charge a standard 15% restocking fee on this item. This applies to printers, equipment, inks, and labels.
